These terms govern your use of permitect.ai and the Permitect products. By using them, you agree to what follows. One term matters most and won’t change: Permitect provides analysis and documentation to support expert review. It does not provide legal advice, and it does not approve, deny, or issue permits. Licensed reviewers and jurisdictions make every decision.

What Permitect is, and is not

Permitect reads permit documents against a jurisdiction’s adopted codes and produces findings, each cited to the code section and the document it came from. Findings are generated with the help of AI and are meant to be verified — that’s why every one carries a citation. They are not a guarantee that a permit will be approved, that a plan is complete, or that a code applies to your project the way a jurisdiction will ultimately interpret it. Your jurisdiction’s determination always controls.

Your content

You keep ownership of the plans and documents you upload. You give us permission to process them to provide the service — to run reviews, answer questions, and prepare your packet — and you’re responsible for having the right to share what you upload. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and honestly: don’t misrepresent who you are, don’t upload content you have no right to share, don’t probe or disrupt the service, and don’t scrape or resell it. The site’s content, design, and software are ours or our licensors’; these terms don’t transfer any of that to you.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, Permitect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Housekeeping
